On Feb 19th, 2025, Waubonsee Community College hosted its Spring 2025 Engagement Fair at the Student Center from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The event featured a variety of student clubs, organizations, campus departments and representatives from four-year colleges, offering students the opportunity to connect with resources and explore various opportunities.

The event spanned the entire non-cafe area of the Student Center’s first floor. The event had a DJ, and was candy themed, with Donuts available at the cafe.

The Student Senate had a booth at the fair, promoting students to join and to raise awareness for the upcoming Student Senate elections. Pictured standing on the left is Connor Anderson, and speaking at the table on the right is Alex Galvan, both students intending to run for Student Trustee.

DePaul University attended the fair with a booth and display merchandise. Students were free to walk up and discuss their potential transfer options, major, tuition and more.

The Waubonsee Socialist Club attended with their own booth at the fair, with candy, club information and a contact sheet for students to become a member. The club emphasized that it is not a debate club, but rather a club for Waubonsee students to discuss current political events and socialism.

Latinos Unidos had a booth at the fair, providing information about their organization and collecting details from interested students. The club has been around as an organization for many years at Waubonsee.
